    Hey Katie!

    I’ve been following your blog for a while now and it’s awesome! It’s been a long time since we’ve talked (years) but I was hoping you could give me some advice about pregnancy and running! I am pregnant and we are sooo excited. I’m currently 16 weeks and feeling great. I’d love to be running more but I find it a little uncomfortable. I get cramps (kind of) in my belly especially at the beginning of the run. I’m not sure how far/long I can go for and if I can run at my normal pace. I’ve read so many different things online: don’t elevate your heart rate past 140, don’t run for more than an hour, don’t go your normal pace. I just don’t know what to believe. These things have made me nervous about running especially for longer distances (more than 5 miles). What kind of time/milage were you able to maintain during your pregnancy? Would you recommend increasing milage while pregnant? I’d love any advice you can give me.

    Looks like you and the family are doing well! I can’t believe Luke is already 1! Crazy how time is flying by. Hope you’re having a good spring despite all the snow.
