August Pinterest Challenge

Happy August!! Anybody else super surprised that it is August already? Seriously, where is this summer going?? Instead of being sad that summer is over half over, I thought I would use the month of August to do a super fun challenge. . .

I love Pinterest.

However, I tend to pin a lot of different things but never actually make or do most of them.

And so for the month of August, I am challenging myself to make 8 things from my Pinterest Boards. I plan on doing mostly main meal and side dish pins, but I am leaving the challenge open to anything – workouts, crafts, good ideas, breakfast, desserts, or drinks.

Anybody else interested? Use #AugustPinterestChallenge to join in!!

Here are a few ideas from my Pinterest boards that I am thinking would be perfect for this month. . .

  1. Way

All those recipes look soo good. I have done the vase & bowl to put in the flower beds. I used some with my landscaping lights inside the vases & they look cool at night lit up.

  2. Oh, I love this challenge! I’m in!

  3. Ooh, good idea! I was just wondering what to make for next week’s lunches and thought I should scope out my boards for some “pinspiration”…

  4. Oh my gosh, I want all of those things, starting with the marg dip and ending with that chocolate peanut butter cake! I’ve made quite a few things from Pinterest (food things. I don’t craft) and they almost always turn out really well! I just got some fresh peaches, so those scones might have to happen this weekend.

  5. I’m loving this challenge. I’m totally doing this, I just posted my 8 that I want to do on my blog. Good luck!!!

  6. Oh I love the idea of this challenge! I have so many things on my pinterest boards and often don’t get around to making a lot of them. I actually created a board awhile back with pins I had actually made. I will hopefully be adding a lot more to that board soon.

  9. Oh my gosh, what a great idea!! I just recently reorganized all my Pinterest boards, so this challenge could be a perfect companion to that effort. 🙂

I actually once wrote a post called something like “48 kajillion recipes pinned on Pinterest and no food on the table.” haha–definitely a problem over here too!
