With Valentine’s Day coming up, I needed a new craft to do with Luke.. . Enter Pinterest! I found quite a few ideas, but I liked this one the best, because Luke could participate.
Here is the original pin. . .

And my version:
I used stickers to spell out L-O-V-E and put smaller stickers on the bottom for LUKE 2012.
Then, I put a old t-shirt on Luke, and let him get his hands full of pink sparkly paint and go to town. He loved feeling the paint and putting his hands on the canvas. Perfect activity for a 9 month old. He put paint everywhere, even on the sides!
*Disclaimer – we got paint everywhere! I was happy that I was wearing old clothes, I had Luke covered up and we had an old sheet down!*
I did add a little extra paint around the letters to make them stand out, but most of the paint was done by Luke! Then, I let it dry, and peeled off the stickers. Added the ribbon with a hot glue gun to be able to hang it.
Here are some other ideas that I found on Pinterest. . ..

This is the cutest! Do you have pictures of Luke covered in pink glittery paint? It might be good blackmail for future years

Oh don’t I wish! Lucky for him, we were both covered so there was no way I was going to get my hands on a camera to take pictures! I was just trying to make sure that we didn’t get any pink glitter paint on the dining room floor or the dog. LOL.
You are the world’s cutest mom. What an adorable project!
