Cub Foods New Digital e-Coupons

So, I do a lot of my grocery shopping at Cub Foods. It is where I buy the bulk of my groceries (followed by Sam’s Club and Aldi locally here in Mankato). And I know, you guys know to get the rewards card at whatever grocery store you shop at, right? It was one of the first things I did when I did my grocery challenge.

Well, I totally have the Cub Foods reward card. And up to this point, it was more for the fuel discount at Holiday gas station.

Cub Food recently contacted me to check out their new digital e-couponing program and sent me some gift cards to check it out.

Basically, you can sign into your “My Cub Rewards” account and then load coupons right onto your card. Genius, right?

So, you don’t have to carry little slips of paper into the grocery store and attempt to keep track of them while going through the grocery store with a  2 year old (oh, wait, that’s just my life!).

And then all you do, is have the cashier swipe your card at the register.

FYI from their press release –>

The Cub Foods mobile app and digital coupon features are also compatible with iPhone, including in Passbook, and Android devices.  It is available for free download in the iTunes App Store and Android Market.

If you don’t have a card, you can sign up online or in person at the customer service desk at any Cub Foods location.

To put the digital coupons to your MY CUB REWARDS card, all you have to do it go to and log in.

Then, just click through the weekly ads and click “add to my list & card”.

Then, when you are done, you have a grocery list all ready for you and all the coupons are loaded onto your rewards card.

And don’t have time to get on your computer?

Download the app – and do it on your phone. Super easy.

I love using my phone while I am shopping – again way easier to keep track of coupons that way that those darn little slips of paper.

Need to sign up? Check it out here. Smile

Do you use your local grocery stores reward card?

Love the cub app. Miss the $5 off coupon in the mailer!

  2. I have been doing more and more of my shopping at Cub this year, and I REALLY need to get myself signed up for the rewards card. This looks awesome! I have been using the Cartwheel app for Target, which has been awesome, so I’m sure this will be great too!

I love my Cub! I just got 0.20 cents off of gas when I went there today- yup, that’s how much I bought today! I stocked up on healthy Advocare choices! 😉 I totally could have used this app at check out. I was the one rapidly ripping them out of the coupon book while she was ringing me up! Downloading this to my phone now! Thanks!

I used to do that too – this e-coupon thing will change your life. Seriously, it’s awesome.

  4. No Cub around here, but Kroger (Smiths) does digital coupons and yes, I do use them quite a bit. I love their fuel rewards as well, they will have coupons to double (or even 4x on giftcard purchases … I’ll by Amazon giftcards for myself, and just keep a balance on my account there) points. With my big ol ‘burb, when I can get up to $1 off a gallon, that saves a lot!

Kmart has some digital coupons too … and did you know you can earn Shop Your Way Rewards points from your exercise? I’ve been getting about $8 in credit there a week!

Aren’t digital coupons the best?! What is “shop your way rewards” – is that an app?
