Whoa – this has been a LONG week!

I was at the YMCA every night. .. Monday/Wednesday teaching BODYPUMP and Tuesday/Thursday for spin training. Add Scott being out of town on Tuesday and Wednesday, which means that I had Luke all to myself – which isn’t a problem, but it makes morning a little bit harder because we usually are pretty good about helping each other out while getting Luke ready.  ..  needless to say, I made good use of the Panera drive thru this week for breakfast and my usual caramel skim latte.

I am really looking forward to this weekend. We getting it started by celebrating our friend, Matt’s, birthday, with our annual birthday trip to China Buffet. Smile Saturday morning, I teach the morning aerobics class at the YMCA (8:15 –9:30am for any locals that want to join me!) – it is a rotating class, so I only have to teach it every few months. Then, we are headed up to the cities to take Luke to the MN Zoo and have another birthday dinner – this time for Adam (Scott’s brother)! Sunday means football and baking and I am so excited!! Go Pack Go.

Anyway, onto a few of my favorites from the past week. . .

**This shirt – > one of my BODYPUMP participants wore it to class this week. His wife who runs marathons bought it for him!!!

**Artwork from daycare. I love hanging it up at work! They come up with some super cute and fun ideas.

**A Loving Spoon Nut Butter
Ok, so first of all, Sarah is one of the nicest people you will ever come across. She also happens to be from my neck of the woods – just down from Mankato – in Waseca, MN!! Also, check out her awesome story!! I happened to find her on twitter. I thought her nut butters sounded amazing – especially the java almond chip. I contacted her and she was nice enough to send me a few samples –> java almond chip and sea salted cinnamon almond butter. And oh my goodness –they both were ah-mazing – the java almond chip had the best hint of coffee.  I just wish I had some left. . .

It didn’t even make it past eating it on my banana and finishing the extra with a spoon!

She is working hard on getting her full product line ready to launch soon! Make sure you check out and follow along on FacebookInstagram, Twitter, and on Pinterest for updates!!

**1st treadmill run AND watching a guilty pleasure – My Fair Wedding –> David Tutera performs miracles!

**This spoof video from SNL of “What does a Fox say?” –> What does my girl say?! <hilarious>

**The fact that I have a bunch of bananas that are perfect for baking this weekend!! And that Luke has a new favorite place to play in the new place. He will stand on that chair forever and keep himself entertained with the kitchen utensils. <love>

**My new iPhone 5s! It was time for my old iPhone to go – it could barely hold a charge and would randomly delete my notepad lists and wouldn’t back up!

**Morning baby snuggles and puppy bed hogs. . .

Your turn! What are you up to this weekend? What are some of your favorites from this week??

And finally – the winner of the Wholly guacamole giveaway is. . .

  1. I’m excited to see what you bake up this weekend! It sounds like you have a fabulous weekend ahead of you. Have so much fun!
We have yet another quiet weekend in the books. I will more than likely be helping hubby with some yardwork, getting a few things done around the house, maybe having another fire in the fireplace, possibly ordering pizza, and who knows what else! It should be very relaxing.

E was gone a bunch of last week, so I totally understand what you’re saying with being on your own. I sometimes take for granted all that he does to help around here. We were so thankful to have him back this week!

  14. Ah, Dave is going out of town in 2 weeks for 1 night and I will be alone with the dogs and the baby for the first time. I’m so nervous! It is funny how a baby does make your spouse feel like a team mate. I never stressed over Dave leaving for work trips and now I’m all like, “I neeeeeed you!” haha

Also, thought of you: Have you seen the new cocoa cookie butter at Trader Joes (at least, I think it is new)? It is like Nutella mixed with cookie butter. Amazing. My mind is spinning about what I could bake with it…but it is delicious straight off the spoon. Obviously.
