Friday Favorites: 2/6/15

Whelp. It’s finally here. Moving day. Wish us luck. Smile

I’m off to lift heavy things and to try to not smother Luke with too many hugs while thinking about not seeing him for a few days. . .

here are my favorites from this week. Enjoy. Smile

1. roasted sweet potatoes. OMG. So good right now.

Small dice, drizzle of olive oil and salt. Roast in the oven for about 45 minutes at 400 degrees.

2. Drippy eggs.

Would you believe that 3 weeks ago, I thought I didn’t like drippy eggs? I know, what’s up with that? And then I decided to give them a try. . . and you know what? I love them. Like love love love. Cannot get enough. Just a reminder that our taste buds are always changing (something I always tell parent’s of toddlers who don’t like vegetables) so keep trying new things.

3. My husband. Like whoa.

He has been so supportive with this whole crazy thing that is life right now. I don’t know where I would be without him.

4. Planning trips. Looking forward to the future and getting some trips on the calendar = awesome. WI dells in April, Vegas in the fall and already planning for Key West next winter.

5. Caribou Coffee.

It is my go- to place to get stuff done. This week, I got a tea (pomegranate oolong) instead of my usual. And I crossed off everything on my to do list. Fist bump!! Extra bonus points for gchatting with my favorite blend.
