Luke’s 2nd birthday party

We celebrated Luke’s 2nd birthday with close family and friends on Saturday. It was a morning party. . . in order to not miss afternoon naps. Smile

Party favors. I bought a Home Depot canvas tool belt for each kid and filled it with fun treats. Luke loved his – especially the hammer.

And the after party.

Scott’s family stayed after the party to help with some projects around the house and Luke was more than happy to put Uncle Adam to work putting together his new toys and playing together.

Overall, it was a great day. I am so thankful that we have such a great group of friends and family who love Luke as much as we do and take the time to celebrate with us.

  5. Oh my gosh, I love the photo of Luke diving head first into the bag. So cute! It looks like a super fun day… although now I hope I only have a girl child. I would have no idea how to plan anything for a boy!

If you end up with a boy, you will learn quickly. I know more about trucks and construction equipment than I EVER thought I would. LOL.

  6. What an amazing birthday party! You did such a great job! The look on his face when he’s driving that lawn mower is absolutely priceless. Bahhh so cute!

I don’t think he could have smiled any bigger. It was so adorable. And Scott told me that it’s a tractor, not a riding lawn mower. . . oh boys, what are we going to do with them?!
