My Holiday Baking List

Ahhhh the Holidays. . . Christmas music, shopping, wrapping, pictures with Santa, Christmas Eve midnight church service, Christmas trees, Christmas lights, and the baking. Oh the baking. The time of year you buy more butter and sugar than one person should ever have in their house, right?!

This year, I am super excited for Holiday baking. But, I am keeping it reigned in. I love baking, but hate spending an. entire. day. doing it. So, I paired down the list a bit and I think I have come up with my all-time favorites that will *fingers crossed* not take the whole day to complete. . . but make my sugar-loving husband happy. Smile Actually, the key in my house is to not do the baking too far in advance, otherwise, it might not make it to Christmas. I have already had a fail in my house of making RPSs and having most of them already gone. It’s a blessing and a curse that my husband loves my baking as much as he does. Winking smile

Anyway, here is my current Christmas Baking 2014 plan. . .

I haven’t made a list of things to bake yet, if anything. I usually just mooch off everyone else haha. Once I get through this week I’ll be in full holiday mode!

  4. Ooh this list looks fantastic! Love “Christmas crack.” So far, I’ve made white chocolate cranberry oat cookies, toffee bars, and chocolate peanut butter buckeyes that I posted the recipe on the blog yesterday. So much baking! But so much fun πŸ™‚

  5. All these look amazing!! I’m going to give home made turtles a try this weekend. I used to bake dozens of cookies but I ended up throwing them out because I only ate a few and the hubby isn’t much of a cookie eater. Darn healthy lifestyle. πŸ˜‰

  6. These look yummy! I haven’t done much baking this year. I made some green tea cookies and today I need to make some Irish Soda bread for my twins classroom– they are having an international feast.
