Last night I finally got hungry again about 8pm. I didn’t want to eat too much because bedtime wasn’t too far away.
In my sandwich:
- english muffin
- swiss cheese
- raspberry jam
- 1 egg white
It was delicious and hit the spot. I especially liked the addition of raspberry jam, which typically makes everything better!
This morning I got back on track with a good, healthy breakfast.
and a banana!
I felt pretty crappy about all my snacking yesterday and having a good breakfast made me feel better!
Lunch was Italian Wedding Soup from the hospital cafeteria, a string cheese stick, and a raspberry chobani.
I had another banana before heading to the YMCA to take another ‘run’ at the hill/speed interval workout I did about a week and a half ago. I managed to increase my speed a little bit from what I did last time.
Four Mile Treadmill Hill/Speed Workout
.75 miles at “normal” pace and 1 incline (6.0)
.25 miles at “normal” pace and 4 incline (6.0 still)
.75 miles at “not as comfortable” pace and 1 incline (6.2)
.25 miles at “not as comfortable” pace and 4 incline (6.2)
.75 miles at “normal” pace and 1 incline (6.0 again)
.25 miles at “normal” pace and 4 incline (6.0 again)
.75 miles at “uncomfortable breathing” pace and 1 incline (6.4)
.25 miles at “uncomfortable breathing” pace and 4 incline (6.4 – WHOA – breathing hard!)
.25 walk – “cool down”
I am looking forward to doing it again next week to try to increase my speed again!
After getting showered up, Scott and I tagged teamed dinner. He grabbed these ravioli at the store last weekend.
We cooked them up with som leftover spaghetti sauce we had in the fridge.
Add some frozen asian veggies on the side = dinner!
Now off to do some TV watchin’ and hanging on the couch. I was supposed to work an extra shift in Urgent Care tonight but got cancelled at the last-minute, so I am enjoying the extra couch time tonight!
