Sesame honey chicken (crockpot)

Another (fairly) successful #crockpotchallenge meal.

Sesame Honey Chicken (my version)

This one from Pinterest.

Super easy to make.

Just season chicken, put in crockpot and top with sauce. Cook for 4 hours. The chicken had really good flavor, but the sauce was super sweet. The sauce does have 1 cup of honey in it, so of course it was sweet! We ate it over rice with cauliflower and broccoli. I donโ€™t think this one will became a regular in our house โ€“ too sweet for us, but it was an overall good dinner!

I made the crockpot salsa chicken from your blog tonight. Served it over rice and it was delicious! Looking forward to leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

  3. This sounds SO good. Sesame chicken used to be one of my favorite dishes before I became a vegetarian. I am thinking that this would be great with tofu, too!

  4. Great, it’s almost 10pm and I’m tempted to call for Chinese delivery ๐Ÿ˜‰ This looks freakin’ amazing – I love cooking and shredding chicken in a crockpot! The hubs would be all for this knowing his love for sesame chicken.
