Another (fairly) successful #crockpotchallenge meal.
Sesame Honey Chicken (my version)
This one from Pinterest.

Super easy to make.
Just season chicken, put in crockpot and top with sauce. Cook for 4 hours. The chicken had really good flavor, but the sauce was super sweet. The sauce does have 1 cup of honey in it, so of course it was sweet! We ate it over rice with cauliflower and broccoli. I don’t think this one will became a regular in our house – too sweet for us, but it was an overall good dinner!

This makes me reconsider being a vegetarian entirely, haha! It looks really great

Don’t worry Kate – I have a meat free recipe coming today. . . ice cream cake.
I made the crockpot salsa chicken from your blog tonight. Served it over rice and it was delicious! Looking forward to leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

SO good, right! Glad you liked it!!!
And so super easy too! Only trick is that it only has to cook for 4h so I can’t turn it on before work, but my husband usually works from home so I just had him take it out of the fridge and plug it in.

This sounds SO good. Sesame chicken used to be one of my favorite dishes before I became a vegetarian. I am thinking that this would be great with tofu, too!

I totally agree – although I have to admit that I have no idea how tofu would do in the crockpot.
Great, it’s almost 10pm and I’m tempted to call for Chinese delivery
This looks freakin’ amazing – I love cooking and shredding chicken in a crockpot! The hubs would be all for this knowing his love for sesame chicken.
