So, my good blend Becky started this awesome blog link up a few weeks ago. The idea is awesome. . . basically take some time in your week to do at least 1 thing for YOU. That can be anything from a good workout, a massage, fro yo. . . anything that makes you feel happy.
These are the directions for Treat Yourself Tuesday from Becky. . .
Do whatever feels best for you. Do something that will make you feel relaxed and loved and happy. Remember this is about treating YOURSELF – not your friends, not your family, not your spouse, not your dog – so make sure you really focus on you. Treat yourself well and treat yourself often so that you will become the best you possible and in turn be your best for others in your life!
In the past week, I can think of 3 things I did to treat myself!
I made these awesome pumpkin bars.
They are a fall staple in my house. They make a huge pan. And I had 2 for dessert last Friday night. YUM! Recipe coming your way on Thursday.
Laura and I went to see Wicked on Saturday. We splurged a little bit and got 8th row seats!! This was my second time seeing it, and it was as awesome as ever.
I watched Project Runway on TV in real time.
I normally DVR everything and watch it way later. Well, last Thursday, it was just Luke and I because Scott was out of town for a conference. And after Luke went to bed, Abby and I hit up the couch and I enjoyed just watching TV. Not watching while doing blog work, folding laundry, picking up on the commercials. Just watching TV. I can’t even tell you the last time I did that. And it was nice.
