Weekend Update: 2/2/14

Hey there. Happy Monday.

Did you have a good weekend?

I was on call so I was wishing for a quiet, fast weekend. And it totally came true. I had to go to work on Saturday and Sunday but it wasn’t too bad. And the weekend, like most weekends, went super fast!

Saturday morning started with snuggling on the couch.

And maple almond butter snacking. Gosh I just LOVE that stuff.

Luke taking a selfie.

And wanting the phone back to take more selfies.

Lunch appetizer. La Terra Fina spinach & artichoke parmesan dip. With Stacy’s Pita chips –> YUM!

Couch time with Abby.

Work time. . . with a new screen saver for February.

Scott’s parents and brother came down to help with the house and Scott’s Mom watched Luke while I went to work.

Quick treadmill run before lunch.

Then, we checked out the house.

And I got to do a solo trip to the grocery store and Sam’s Club. –> stocked up on fruit and veggies to do some juicing! Details tomorrow.

Way brought dinner – awesome enchiladas and lemon raspberry pie.

Sunday morning. Breakfast.

Coffee and my 1st juice.

More work. This time with my parents watching Luke while Scott was working at the house.

Treadmill run again. Lunch time.

Baking time. With pink sprinkles!

Play time at the new house.

Super bowl party. Could you believe that game?? I was super sad for the Broncos. . .

So, what were you up to this weekend? Did you watch the game?

**I was provided with La Terra Fina dip in exchange for my review, but as usual, all opinions are 100% my own on R4C.

  1. I went home after the half-time show. I was so surprised by how that game turned out! I had to work most of the day Saturday, but yesterday it got really warm out so I ran 6.5 miles and it felt sooooo good to be outside with short sleeves!

  4. Sorry, but I was happy to see a Manning take a stomping. Too bad for the Broncos, sure, but I loathe those Mannings! LOL

Looks like a nice weekend. The house looks like it’s coming right along! How much longer until you guys think you’ll be finished?

  5. Love the selfie of Luke! What a cutie!

& I’m not a huge football fan, but gosh I felt so bad for the Broncos. Not because they lost…but just because they lost SO bad.

Atlas & I dropped a little something in the mail for you today! :) you should get it by Friday!

Whaaaat? You guys are too sweet!! And I felt really bad for how bad the Broncos lost too!! Hope you guys are having a great week. :)

  6. I’m glad your weekend went as smoothly as you’d hoped!! My husband is on call this whole week (he has a full week every couple of months), and he’s always a little stressed about it. The occasional 2am page is no fun.

  8. Your house is coming along so nicely! Awesome!
My weekend was JAM-PACKED, but I am so incredibly relieved that it’s over and that I took care of business that I’m feeling energized to check more things off of my list!
