Weekend Update: 3/9/14

Happy Monday!! Did you have a great weekend? We were super busy, but got a lot done and it was a great mix of work, friend and family time and Lukie laughs.

Luke was my helper for another batch of peanut butter banana muffins.

Snack time with an Abby stalker. . .

6 mile run during baby nap time. And rocking out my new Feetures! socks.

I took my 1st trip to Aldi. Their prices are ah-mazing. . . as long as you are ok buying their store brand.

A nice mail surprise from Krusteaz.

Couch time with a little Maui souvenir.

Spin instructor meeting on Saturday morning.

Followed by work time. And Caribou.

Lunch at Wendy’s.

Painting done. Now electrical!

And yes, that is a lawnmower in the basement. Winking smile

Laura and her boyfriend, Tom, came to help too! Laura made an awesome dinner.

Followed by snuggling on the couch.

Sunday morning smiles.

We had lots of helpers on Sunday at the house. Scott’s parents, brother, and his girlfriend – Ashley – who brought me a latte, with an extra shot because of daylight savings time, and my Dad.

After working all day, we took a break and I gave Ashley a tutorial on Jamberry nails and Luke wanted to help.

We finished the day with dinner at Pizza Ranch to celebrate Scott’s birthday (on Tuesday).

Overall it was really good weekend with lots of stuff getting done!! Thank you to everyone who came and helped. Smile The progress is so exciting and I can’t wait to show you all the finished house! Fingers crossed that we can move in the beginning of April!

What were you up to this weekend??

The place looks like it is going to be just beautiful! I love that paint color – the light blue – so soothing and tranquil!
