Weekend Update: 4/27/14

Hi! Happy Monday. Smile

We had a great weekend. It was rainy and thunderstorms all day yesterday which is my favorite weather (minus the mud pit that is our yard!). . .

Looks like you had a fun and relaxing weekend! I love seeing little snippets of your house in pictures! It sure looks gorgeous! This weekend I conquered my first ever marathon. I cannot believe I did it! I really think I need to start a blog just so I can write all about it! Enjoy your Monday! 🙂

CONGRATULATIONS!! That is awesome. 🙂 How did it go? Which one did you do???

Thank you! It was TOUGH. A lot hillier than I anticipated. I finished and crossed the finish line running, which was my goal, and that’s all that matters! It was a small race in Nisswa, MN called Run For the Lakes. A beautiful course running around some lakes up north. If you’ve ever been up north, you can imagine what it was like. I think the scenery is what pushed me to the finish! Next time you do a race up in the cities let me know… maybe we can run together! 🙂

  2. I asked for Frozen for Easter and I GOT IT! I haven’t watched it yet because I’m waiting for the right moment to strike me. =)
I love Luke. And I love you.

It’s pretty much playing on repeat in my house right now, so you should just come over and watch it with us. 🙂 XOXO

What no mention of the Spark to the rescue! How did you like the new flavors. What release are you teaching tonight?

OMG how did I forget?? it’s probably because I didn’t drink any yesterday! I had watermelon this morning – yum! 88 again tonight!

  4. Can’t ever go wrong w/ Caribou!! Are you a bigger lover of Caribou than Starbucks? I am! 🙂

  5. We got rained in on Sunday too. It was perfect since I wasn’t feeling well. It is always easier to nap when it is cloudy and gloomy out. The rest of the weekend was super fun! We had a cookout with friends on Friday night. Lots of food, drinks, and cards against humanity (which means lots of laughing!). Then on Saturday, I hit the farmer’s market and stocked up for the week and bought herbs for a little herb garden. Then we went on a hike and zip adventure and out to dinner for a friend’s birthday at Bonefish. Yummo! All in all, a great weekend (minus Sunday’s sickly spell).

  6. Looks like a great weekend. I still haven’t seen Frozen, but I really want to! I just want to wait until it comes out on HBO so I don’t have to pay for it, but it better happen soon!

  7. So much rain! I will be so sick of it by the end of the week!
The highlight of my weekend was a 12.37 mile walk. Can you tell I’m proud for going on such a long walk when I tell you the mileage to two decimal places?

I’m sick of it already – one day is more than enough for me! Where did you walk to?

There are a lot of old train tracks in the St. Cloud area that have been changed into paths. This one was up highway 10 by Royalton and took us to the tiny town of Bowlus and back. No worries if you don’t know where that is. I’ve lived here my whole life and only heard of Bowlus like 5 years ago. It’s that small!

  8. Love that your house has Frozen on all the time too. We watch the movie a lot, but listen to the soundtrack much, much more. I finally had to buy it (rather than using You Tube). Miss A got Anna and Kristoph dolls for her birthday already, and an Elsa doll this weekend. She was super excited. My stepmom said the only place she could get one was on Ebay, everyone else was sold out. Craziness!
