Oh Monday! After a nice long 3 day weekend with my little family, it doesn’t feel so bad today. . .
Luke and I started 4th of July at Caribou for smoothies and some outside time.
Then, a trip to the pool in the afternoon.
with friends always makes it better.
trouble. seriously, we are in big trouble. He pulled the stool over, opened the fridge and climbed inside ALL BY HIMSELF. Such a monkey!
Gillin’ –> Jennie-O was nice enough to send me some turkey franks to grill up for the Holiday. And I was most excited about these Jalapeno Jack ones!!
And they did not disappoint! Full of cheese with a nice kick from the jalapenos!
poor Abby HATES fireworks. So. . . I had a lap puppy all night long. I actually really like the extra snuggles, but feel so bad that she is so scared!

Trip to the Farmer’s Market. . .
BODYPUMP practice + a helper.
Getting ready for our challenge that we are starting today! . . . making homemade larabars (minus chocolate chips!) for snacks and amazeballs using chocolate protein powder –> prefect post-workout snack!!
I also prepped chicken salad (for lunches), veggies and egg cups.
Family walk and errands.. .
Including picking up a new mattress for Luke’s big boy bed!! Side note – when did he get SO big??
Sunday morning breakfast. . .
And the rest of the day (after a 3.5 mile super humid run. . .) was spent helping Luke “help” Dad with the pantry shelves. .. doesn’t it look awesome??
Ice cream date at DQ –> OMG the s’mores blizzard is still ah-mazing.
And the rest of the night was bedtime, laundry and getting all my Advocare stuff ready for Scott and I to start our 10 day challenge tomorrow!!
