Weekending. . . Holiday Lights

Hey there. Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good. .. can’t complain too much to be back to work today. Winking smile

Luke rocked his dentist appointment and got extra points for being super adorable. The hygienist came out to get us and she said “Hi Luke, I’m Chelsea.” And he said “Hi!” and ran over and gave her a big hug.

On Saturday, Grandma Mary came to visit. . . Luke sat in the front window and had a picnic while he watched for her.

Abby was pretty excited for her to be here too.

Saturday night we went to a lighted Holiday parade. It was perfect temps – mid 30s and so much fun.

Loved this Rudolph fire truck

And this lift with Santa and his reindeer.

Sunday morning means pancakes. Luke loves helping and always wants to wear his Krusteaz apron to help.

After breakfast, we decorated the tree. And Luke really really wanted to put the mitten on the top of the tree. It was hilarious, dangerous and adorable all at the same time.

On Sunday evening, we went to a local fun run through Holiday lights.

We got there extra early to make sure there was parking and some of us were more excited than others. . .

And we ended the night by some family time around the Christmas tree.

It was a weekend of Christmas lights. Man, I love this time of year.

Hope you had a great one! Highlights??

I am linking up with Katie (and Erin) for Marvelous in my Monday!

  4. The lights on your tree look awesome!

  5. Ooh I love your lights! I’ve never bought colored lights for our tree, but maybe next year I should. Our town was overrun with tourists for all the holiday stuff happening. We didn’t do any of it, though, which was kind of a bummer. On the upside, we avoided the crowds and got in plenty of relaxing!

I grew up with colored lights and really didn’t know anything different until I married Scott and his family does white lights. It was a big debate when we got our first tree. 😉

What lights do you have on your tree?! They’re like radioactive and I love them LOL! Hope you had a great fun run – It sounds like it would be super pretty.
